The 2016 Eurobasket Summer League kicks off tomorrow at Norfolk Christian School for the Portsmouth event. It is a new year under new leadership for ESL as Dustin Simcox takes the reign implementing a new structure and identity. Saturday will take the form of the NBA Draft Combine where participants will undergo a series of athleticism, shooting, and game situation drills and tests. The athleticism component will feature the vertical jump, sprint speeds, lateral speed, and agility. The event will get started at 11 AM and last until approximately 3 pm. Sunday will then return to the standard game format that is come to be expected at exposure events. This year's Portsmouth Summer League will feature a mix of NCAA D1 impact players along with high quality D2, D3, and NAIA Players. Listed below are the expected participants:

Ryan Burnett joins Culleredo - 23 days ago
CB Culleredo (EBA) agreed terms with 26-year old American swingman Ryan Burnett (196-95kg-92, college: Columbus State). He played last summer at Team Greece in Eurobasket Summer League in Atlanta, which is considered top international summer league on the market. His team won the camp and Burnett was selected to All-Star Team for the event. He was also 4th best scorer at ESL with 21.5ppg. 2017 German Tour Recap: The 2017 German Tour wrapped up last week where the team finished a respectable 7-5 on the trip. The team formed of talented players from all over the United States that attended at least one of the Eurobasket Summer League camps. The Eurobasket Select Team split their double header on Saturday with a win of Vfl Stade and a defeat to Cuxhaven. The first game of the day that featured 7 members of the Eurobasket team battled all the way to the finish but came up just short.
