Don Quarles
Jack Montague (183-PG, college: Yale) and Ethan Murray (188-G-93, college: Coll.of the Ozarks) led five Eurobasket players in double figures as they continued to roll through Germany with a perfect record through four games. Montague and Murray each had 14 while Jeremiah Dunnings (183-PG, college: William Carey) continue his double figure streak with 11 points, Don Quarles (193-F/G-92, college: Paine) chipped in 10, and Maurice Cole (182-PG-90, college: Dixie St.) also finished with 10 points. The 99-69 win over BSG Grevenbroich was the 2nd consecutive 30 point plus victory showing that they can compete at the professional level.

BSG Grevenbroich led by Jalen Chapman (203-F-93, college: W.Illinois) and Marko Boksic (201-F/C-93) kept the game close in the 1st quarter as they trailed 23-18 after 10 minutes. Jack Montague reached double digits and Maurice Cole had 3 of his team high five assists in the 1st. The second unit led by Jeremiah Dunnings, Quarles, Murray, and Dayton Mickens (203-F-91, college: Ark.-Monticello) pushed the lead out of reach in the 2nd quarter going on a 18-2 run to start the quarter. Eurobasket as a team held the Elephants to only seven points in the 2nd quarter leading to a 24 point halftime lead.

'We went through a lot of diversity today with a long bus ride and 30 minute delay on the game. However, I am happy we were able to get out to a big lead before the half. We have a long way to go to increase our chemistry together but that will come with experience,' Eurobasket Select Head Coach Allen Mkrtychyan. Eurobasket Select will move on to play 1. FC Kaiserslautern tomorrow.

Notes: Montague, Cole, Derrick Tony Seldon (196-F/C-93, college: W.Connecticut), Darvin Ham (196-F-92, college: Northwood), and Ajani Santos (201-F/C-94) started for Eurobasket...Seldon and Santos led the team with 3 steals...Santos led the team with 7 rebounds...Eurobasket secured 14 steals.
