The Eurobasket Summer League has continued to establish itself as the premier exposure event for rookie and veteran free agents to find higher paying jobs under ESL Director Dustin Simcox. There were 604 former ESL players on pro rosters for the 2018/19 season in 87 different countries. 33 players from the ESL camps have gone on to the NBA G-League, including current Cleveland Cavalier David Nwaba who was the 2016 Las Vegas ESL MVP. Last year, the Las Vegas camp alone produced over 100 pro contracts across 42 different countries. The spark in talent and signings is aided by a partnership with agents around the globe to send players to the ESL camps. 'Eurobasket has always been known as a #1 global source of international basketball info and scouting opportunities for players, agents, coaches, and teams. However, until last year we never made the full effort to combine efforts with agents to help each other grow player opportunities. In 2018, we showed the power of that partnership,' Simcox said.

The ESL Camp will take place July 5-7 and July 11-13. The camp will again feature teams coached by (currently 13) professional coaches from around the world. So far this year Giorgos Bitzanis (Greece), Allen Mkrtychyan (Russia), Vincent Van Sliedregt (Netherlands), Graham Wilson (England), Daniel Sokolovsky (Russia), Matthew Otten (Netherlands), Michael Creppy (China), and Hall of Fame Coach Mark Arce return for another year. , This year ESL will add coaches Boris Ponkratov (Russia), Antonios Doukas (Greece), Erik Rashad (Qatar), Ronnie Levi (Israel), and Dimitris Sarikas (Greece) will join the ESL staff for the first time. Coaches are still expressing interest to coach and will continue to be added to the coaching roster for 2019! We also will be expecting an increase on our 145 in person scouts from the NBA G-League and overseas teams that attended last year's camp!

These coaches along with the Eurobasket.com staff will be on the court with the players helping them advance their games to the international level. The first day of the camp will allow the players to get acclimated with the coach they will have during their ESL games. The acclimation process will include various skill set drills, offensive sets, and defensive strategy implementation to help advance them through the Pool Play (3 games), Semi-Final, and Final championship. All games will be streamed live online via YouTube for any fan, scout, or coach to view if they are unable to attend in person. The event run by the biggest name in International Basketball will be the most talked about event during the NBA Summer League.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ATTENDING THE LAS VEGAS ESL OR SENDING ONE OF YOUR PLAYERS TO THE CAMP PLEASE CONTACT ESL DIRECTOR DUSTIN SIMCOX at esl@eurobasket.com
