First day of Orlando ESL in the old Orlando Magic training facility went very well as Coach John Spezia put the guys through the NBA pro style drills and teams were selected. The excitement is high here as the NBA summer league is in town as well and our hotel is literally two blocks from the practice facility. Most players who are staying at the Sheraton hotel have been bumping into NBA players, scouts, coaches and gms as they are staying at the same hotel. We had a couple of practice games tonight and a few trades were made to even things out and make the teams competitive. Several players stood out tonight, but we have two more days to go, so I am sure many more will start to shine. Players will now play 6 games in the next two days as the guys will have to show they are in shape as these days will be long and tiresome and we look forward to the scouts that will be coming in.
