La Avanzada 87 El Arroyo 70

The first match of the morning that pitted La Avanzada vs. El Arroyo and it offered a great show. A split start (25-16 first quarter end) that has La Avanzada on the winning side with progressively increasing separation from El Arroyo. The 50% accuracy in 2 point shots in the first half has served La Avanzada to go above the lead (44-32 at halftime) despite the contribution of Alexis Elsener (194-G/F-88) in the opponent's box (1st half: 15 min ., 11 pts., 6 reb., 1 as.).
In the last twenty minutes the situation has not changed much, maintaining a difference in the score of about 10 points for the La Avanzada, which has defined the final score of 87-70. For Arroyo, 18 points from Elsener as he was top scorer of the match, with 18 points and 8 rebounds, 4 assists. The victory for La Avanzada get them in the Championship of the Eurobasket Summer League Madrid as they were led by Duane James (196-F-83, agency: Duran International, college: Binghamton) with 15 points and 3 rebounds.

La Serna 97 El Naranjo 59

The second game belonged to La Serna and El Naranjo. A match that seemed to start with only 2 points scored by each team in the first four minutes, but left behind were the visitors of El Naranjo 97-59. The end result of the first quarter (24-15) did not indicate what was going to happen in this match. The game was perfectly coordinated on all parts of the game for La Serna which made it very difficult for the defensive players of El Naranjo despite being equal in percentage of success is marked a part of a 22-7 second quarter to leave the score to 46-22 in twenty minutes. The second half began with no chance to spot a possible comeback, the score of both teams continued to grow but at a distance of 20 that swelled to 38 points difference of the final result (97-59). This time the top scorer if corresponded with picture winner, Borja Arevalo (193-G-91) scored 19 points in 25 minutes on the court, grabbed 7 rebounds and 5 assists. As in previous games of note is the "dirty" work of Moussa Diagne (210-C-94) who had 13 rebounds in this game, in addition to score 10 points.
