Prague defeated Riga 80-72 in the first game of the ESL for Women's event at Fordham University in New York City.
Both of these teams were very competitive and the talent was really even as the teams went back and forth all game.
Prague controlled the first half with a 42-35 advantage at the break but Riga made some strong runs in the second half to keep the contest close.
Jame Skinner the former Langston University player and NAIA All American led the Prague team with 20 points and 7 rebounds and she showcased a very nice all around game consisting of sweet drives to the basket, mid-range jumpers, post up moves and offensive rebounding.

The Prague team simply destroyed Riga on the boards and the blocked a lot of shots and were the most athletic team of the day.

She applied a lot of ball pressure defensively and she stoled the ball all day from the Prague guards and played with lots of intensity.
Karee Houlette (175-G, agency: Team Quest Inc.) from Georgetown had a brilliant game as well as she shot the ball from deep very well scoring 11 points, 4 rebounds, dishing 4 assists and getting 5 steals.
The Riga guards gave the Prague guards fits all game long.
