The second game for all teams in New York at Fordham University were vey competitive.
This session was the second games for all the teams and you could see that some of the players were a little tired after an exhausting day.

Game three (3) of the ESL for Women in New York City featured Prague and the Stockholm Team.
This was an exciting game which displayed some fantastic performances in a seesaw battle which Prague defeated Stockholm 61-53 at the end.
Jamie Skinner (183-F-84, college: Langston) again led Prague with 16 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.
She displayed a nice all around game and showed why she was a NAIA All American. Jamie is definitely one of the best players in the ESL and is a total team player who does it all.
Ashley Huff (185-F-85, college: W.Georgia) put on an athletic performance as she scored 12 points and grabbed 9 rebounds while blocking a few shots.
Roslyn Turner (183-F-78) put in another strong performance as she scored 14 points and pulled down 7 rebounds to go along with her 3 steals.
Roslyn is athletic, plays nice defense, she can score and is a terrific rebounder.
Tracy Harbut (183-G/F-85, college: Syracuse) did it all as she displayed her point guard skills by distributing the ball and creating the offense for the Prague team. She can play inside and outside and posted 9 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
The Stockholm team was led by the sensational Raquel Collier (178-G/F-86) who was unstoppable with 16 points and 4 rebounds.
Raquel creates off the dribble very well and shoots the perimeter shot like a pro.
She is very athletic and quick and knows how to get to the basket.
After playing professional basketball one year the ESL staff could see the difference in her level of play and we expect her to play at a higher level in Europe next season.
Kara Kinzer (173-G-87) chipped in 10 points and displayed a pure shooting touch as she is one of the best shooters in the ESL Womens event.
Amaka Uzomah (183-F-86, college: Colorado St.) was a presence inside as he pulled 8 rebounds and played strong interior defense.
Prague was to athletic and dominated the boards again which led to their second win in the ESL.

Game four (4) put Riga against Moscow in a evenly matched contest that saw Riga edge Moscow 70 -62.
Star Allen (180-F-85, college: Ohio St.) dominated this game with 18 points, 11 rebounds, 5 steals and had several block shots. This former Ohio State player is a very impressive inside player that is really strong inside and would be a great player in the European leagues.
She is totally unselfish and she received more touches in this game that resulted in her dominant performance.
Heather Ezell (175-G-87, college: Iowa St.) played very well on both ends and had 11 points and 3 assists. She continued to impress the ESL staff with her outstanding play.
She would be a great combo guard for any quality team in Europe .
Karee Houlette (175-G, agency: Team Quest Inc.) chipped in 10 points and displayed her outstanding shooting and scoring ability.
Shannon Oberg (183-G/F-86, college: UNLV) looked really good this game as she scored 10 points.
Shaquana Morgan (173-G) also played well as she ran the PG for the Riga team and scored 9 points and dished out 3 assists.
Moscow was led by Kara Ayers with 13 points who also hit a couple of 3 point shots in the game. Kara is an intense competitor who is very smooth on offense and has a higher understanding of the game. She will be a quality professional player for a European team.
Tena Matthews (173-G-85, agency: Team Quest Inc., college: Northwestern St.) played a nice all around game and added 10 points, 5 rebounds and a couple of steals. She is very athletic and quick. She has played in Europe one year and has tremendous potential.
Toby Martin the energetic point guard put her foot prints on this game with her salvy point guard play and great passing ability. She was all over the place putting pressure on the defense by penetrating the lane at will and being pesky on defense.
The more the ESL saw Toby play the more we are impressed by her play and leadership skills on the court.
Riga led by Star Allen was just too strong inside and controlled the outcome of this contest.
