Eurobasket Summer League (Atlanta) Day 3 Press Release: (Game 3)

(Atlanta) July 22, 2011

The final day of the ESL Women's event featured some outstanding play and talent.
There were some athletes at the Suwanee Sports Center that deserve to play professionally overseas this coming season.
The collection of talent at this years ESL Women's event may have been the best group since Eurobasket has created this particular group.

In the first game of the day Greece defeated England 76-73 in a very exciting contest that went down to the final possession.
Both teams played hard and displayed some outstanding performances.

Greece was lead by the hot shooting Alex Winchell (5'6''-G-89) who made seven (7) three point shots in the contest and showed she was the most dangerous shooter at the event.
Her range was WNBA like and as a point guard she has great ball handling skills and can run a team on a professional level.
She is an excellent prospect for European teams looking for a PG who can shoot the lights out.
Sheena Brown (5'8''-G, agency: Gamble Sports Management) scored 14 points and capped out a fine ESL Tourney as she is an excellent combo guard that can really score by shooting or driving to the basket.
Taneskei Richardson (6'0''-F, agency: Gamble Sports Management) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds as she demonstrated she is a fine inside player with upside potential.
Rachel Oswald (6'0''-F) the smooth scoring forward had another quality game and poured in 13 points and 6 rebounds.
Rachel has a beautiful mid range game featuring and turn around jump shot and a nice step back.
She has a nice all around game and can really play on both ends and has great size.
England was led by Lauren Falohun (5'9''-G-88, agency: Gamble Sports Management) with 21 points and 7 rebounds. She also had an outstanding tournament displaying, athleticism, a great work ethic and fine all around guard play. She is an excellent defensive player with lots of energy and she can score , rebound and pass.
Chimere Jordan (5'8''-G-89) almost single handedly brought the England team back as she scored 17 points in the second half.
She was probably the sleeper in the ESL Women's event as far as hidden talent.
She is an explosive scorer with skills to create and has a nice jump shot.
She is a nice athlete and would be a great pick up for European teams looking for an outstanding player.
Last but not least was Porche Grant (6'2''-C-88) the rebounding machine she pulled 16 rebounds in this contest and scored 9 points.
She is a athletic work horse and would help any team overseas looking for a great inside player with upside potential.
