Torino, Italy ESL was a success and we know that PMS Torino and Torino, Italy is going to be the home of all future Europe ESL events. We could not have asked for a better host than Julio Trovato , the general Manager of PMS Torino and Federico Paci our long standing Italian agent partner, who resides in Torino. PMS is a first class organization, with first class facilities, no question about it. Also, with the amount of coaches, scouts and gms who showed up from Italian pro teams was incredible. For those players who missed this event they surely missed a golden opportunity to get there foot in the door of playing in Italy, which is one of the hardest countries to get into for import players. We chose a top 5 performers list because this ESL is a little different than the past ESLs as we had the elements of weather to deal with and some players arriving late from traveling difficulties. Therefore, we had two sessions a day with morning sessions being intense workouts with Coach Daniel Jusup . The morning sessions would be similar to what an NBA team would put their guys through or even free agents who come into workout for them. This is why ESL clearly separates itself from other camps or leagues, because they do not have any individual instruction groups or fundamental drills before guys play like we do. Usually, these camps just divide teams and play up and down without scouts, coaches or gms seeing what the fundamentals or learning styles of the players are like. Our games are always very organized and precise with pro set offenses run. Here in Torino, Italy we played 3 games and 3 workout sessions, which worked out perfectly. Players here had a chance to be coached one on one by legendary coach Daniel Jusup and have pro teams watch them are incredibly lucky. Coach Jusup is one of the best at the teaching the game to players which is second to none.

Top 5 performers, Torino, Italy
Corey Shontz (185-PG-89, college: John Carroll), Bulut Altin (187-PG-93), Davide Curletti (205-F-90), Ruben Silva (192-F) and Matija Poscic (205-C-85, college: De Paul)

Corey Shontz is a very solid point guard who is quietly athletic. He is quick, jumps well and can get to the rim. He has great range and is an extremely good person. There is no question he will be an asset to any team and because of this ESL in Italy, he is waiting for a call about several workouts with pro teams in Europe.

Bulut Altin is a pure point guard with a European flair about him. He can handle the ball tremendously and has great court vision. He has a very good pull up jumper and can score when he needs to. Very talented young prospect who we see as being a very high level player with a couple more years of experience.

Davide Curletti is a finesse type player who can play the power forward and small forward positions. Davide is very mobile player who battles around the basket and has a very nice shooting touch. Runs the floor extremely well and is a very intelligent player. Davide will be receiving his Italian citizenship and will be an asset to any Italian team he plays for.

Ruben Silva is a strong 2-3, who probably is more of a 2 than 3. Ruben can guard anyone from the 1 to the 3 and is a very intelligent player. Ruben is an extremely good shooter who has tremendous range from 3 point land. Look for Ruben to play at a high level one day as he is still young and would benefit by going to a nice mid-level program where he can gain some solid experience. However, dont be is surprised if he reaches a high level sooner rather than later.

Matija Poscic a very strong player with an NBA body. He runs the floor extremely well and has a very nice jump shot. Very quick and athletic, he can guard a big 3, 4 and 5 with no problem. He will create major match up problems for teams who use him the right way. He can stretch the floor or post you up. He is a relentless rebounder who will battle you inside. Nice moves around the basket with nice jump hooks from either hand. Matija will make any team at any level happy they took him.
