The Eurobasket Select Team finished its tour at 6-1 and six players have stayed in Austraila to workout with various teams to sign contracts with these respective clubs. By finishing the tour at 6-1 and having 6 players remain behind to compete for a roster spot with teams makes the select team one of the most successful, if not the most successful tour team ever assembled to tour Australia. However, none of this would have been possible without the help from the following teams: Sutherland Sharks, Hills Hornets, Albury Wodonga Bandits, Melbourne Tigers, Sandringham Sabres, Corio Bay Stingrays, Geelong Supercats and Geelong's Big V team. Each and every person from each of these clubs treated us with the type of hospitality that one would offer to a family member and Eurobasket is extremely thankful for this. Also, these teams have either taken one of the select team players or have made recommendations for a select team player to sign with other clubs. So, once again, we would like to thank everyone who helped the select team along the way to make our trip in Australia a very successful one. A final roster of where the six select team players have signed will be announced in a few days once all the player's contracts have been signed.
