David Nwaba
The Eurobasket Summer League (ESL) is coming off of one of its best years in 2016. It featured 108 players receiving contracts overseas, in the NBA D-League, or even the NBA. 2016 Las Vegas Participant David Nwaba (193-G-93, college: Cal Poly - SLO) finished his 2016-17 season with the Los Angeles Lakers, after spending the majority of his season with D-League affiliate Los Angeles D-Fenders. With that being said, all of the professional coaches that helped run the 2016 Las Vegas ESL are coming back for another year. Thomas Roijakkers (Belgium). Allen Mkrtychyan (Russia), Pascual Padilla (Latin America), and Matthew Otten (Netherlands) are all back for another year. ESL will also add Graham Wilson (England), Vincent Van Sliedregt (Netherlands), Martin Knezevic (NBA D-League), and Todd Triplett (Iceland) to the team for 2017!

These coaches along with the Eurobasket.com staff will be on the court with the players helping them advance their games to the international level. Meanwhile, last year had scouts from 25 different countries all in attendance during the ESL camp scouting from the bleachers! The first day of the camp will allow the players to get acclimated with the coach they will have during their ESL games. The acclimation process will include various skill set drills, offensive sets, and defensive strategy implementation to help advance them through the new Double Elimination tournament. The last two days will be strictly games as the coaches and teams look to win the Las Vegas ESL Championship. The event run by the biggest name in International Basketball will be the most talked about event during the NBA Summer League.

Camp Attendees as of June 28th, 2017
