JONATHAN KING

Atletico Nacional (LPB) added to their roster 28-year old Panamanian forward Jonathan King (203-109kg-90, college: Abil.Christian). It is actually his comeback to Aguilas as he has played here before. King played this summer at Cojute in Salvadorean Liga MB. The last season he played at Aguilas where in 13 LPB games he recorded 11.6ppg, 4.5rpg, 4.1apg and 2.8spg (leader !!!). A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Panamanian LPB Honorable Mention.
King's team made it to the El Salvador Liga Mayor Clausura Semifinals in 2016.
He represented Panama at the Centrobasket in Panama City (Panama) two years ago. King's team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 6 games: 4.3ppg, 1.7rpg, 1.0spg.
King has played previously professionally also in Panama (Caballos).
He attended Abilene Christian University until 2015 and it will be his fourth season as a professional player.
On King: The best player in his age group in Panama. One of the best young wing players in Central America. Has the ability to do a little bit of everything without excelling at any one thing. Game is similar to Joshua Chambers at his age. Started playing the 3, and worked hard to add a good shot. Now, he is a very good shooter with deep range. He has the ability to shoot the ball both spotting up and also on the move. He is a tough competitor and has a excellent understanding of the game. Ready to play the SG position at top level.
