2020 Eurobasket Summer League Schedule Announced - January 27, 2021
| POSTED BY: EUROBASKET NEWS | follow us on ![]() |
Much like the rest of the world, the basketball community
was thrown upside-down in 2020 due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. Leagues
were cancelled, postponed, pushed back, and some continued right on through
without any setback. As we have entered 2021, there have been three approved vaccines
that give hope the world will return to normality and a more stable basketball landscape
come summertime. Eurobasket has continued to be the standard for global basketball
reporting and will back at it in April for the start of the Eurobasket Summer
League Camps.
Last summer we were able to host camps in Atlanta,
Dallas,
Las
Vegas, Indianapolis
(replacement for Chicago), and Philadelphia
(replacement for NYC) while adhering to strict COVID-19 protocols without
having 1 reported case of COVID-19 from our events. In 2021, we are looking to continue
that trend in the same regions. All camp locations will be for Men and Women,
while the big 2021 Eurobasket Women's Invitational will take place at the
Atlanta location. In the last normal season (2019-2020), we had 767 former
Eurobasket players on active rosters across the globe in 87 different
countries. In 2020/21, we had just over 100 players from the 2020 smaller camps
receive opportunities on overseas teams during the pandemic season. Each camp
will be 3 days that includes a practice and 3 full games. All games are
filmed/live streamed with full stats and data analytics as provided by Hudl.
All teams will be coached by professional international coaches, agents, or
Eurobasket staff. For more info on specific events go to
