Eurobasket Women's Portugal Tour Ends with Win v CLIP, 7 of 8 players agree with teams - September 27, 2023

The Women's Eurobasket Portugal Tour Team concluded its schedule on Tuesday night with probably its best performance of the trip earning a 67-65 victory at CLIP. Eurobasket was playing without Center Sylwia Harda (189-F-1991) who agreed to join Braga and Wing Jada Smith (175-G/F) who had agreed earlier to play with Guifoes. Lillian Brown (175-G-1998, college: NKU), a free agent forward who is in Porto helped fill the void of the two missing players to leave Eurobasket with only 6 players. Brown's performance ended with a contract alongside Jada Smith at Guifoes. Mashya Scott (168-G-2001) started the game hot scoring 14 of her 20 points in the 1st Quarter. Wil'Lisha Jackson (173-G/F-2000) led Eurobasket in scoring with 22 points while Kylie Meadows (180-F, college: Bluefield) had a double-double of 14 points and 13 rebounds. Jada Camacho (173-G-1999, college: NJCU) finished with 8 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists. Brown finished with 10 rebounds, while Taylor Dunn had 2 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals.

It was a brutal week playing 7 games in 9 days after entering Portugal but 7 out of the 8 players on tour signed professionally! Kylie Meadows agreed to terms late last night with Moufflons in Cyprus, Mashya agreed with Vasco da Gama, Taylor signed with Vllaznia in Albania, while Wil'Lisha Jackson agreed to terms to play with Juvemaia. With Harda going to Braga and Smith and Brown going to Guifoes that leaves only Jada Camacho that is still available for opportunities starting immediately.

The 2nd and Final Women's Eurobasket Summer League Event took place this past weekend at the University of Texas Arlington in Dallas. The 2025 Eurobasket Women's Final 4 Showcase concluded on Sunday April 6th in Tampa, Florida. 97 players competed over 3 days to showcase their abilities for professional coaches, teams, agents, and GMs. It was the best field of players in any previous Final 4 event and the results did not disappoint.
