The ESL Houston event began on Friday afternoon at the The 'GYM' venue.
Scouts from Iceland, South America, Taiwan, Europe and other leagues were in attendance.

There were some remarkable performances especially by Brad Reese (6'6''-F-88, agency: TM Sports) and David Tairu (6'3''-G-86, agency: TM Sports) of Texas Tech
and Kris Richard (6'5''-G-90) (6'5''-G-90) from Tulane.
Other players who separated their games from the rest of the pack included Ricky Rickey Huckaby (6'2''-G-83, college: Tex.A&M-Kingsv.), Jamil Terrell (6'7''-F/C-80, agency: TSS Management, college: W.Texas A&M), Mike Singletary (6'6''-F-88) and Lorenzo Davis (6'10''-C-82, college: Mountain St.).

This is one of the most talented ESL events to date and there are lots of quality players who are professionals.
