  Eurobasket Men’s Tour Team wins all 7 games against Portuguese Competition - September 18, 2024

The Eurobasket tour went undefeated for the 1st time in 5 years of competition. The team bonded early and trusted each other making it a great playing experience despite only having one practice. The team was led by Joseph Bull (196-G/F), a 6’5 G/F from Oneonta State in NY. Bull averaged 16.4 pts, 7.4 reb. 3.1 ast, 2.4 stls, and a Tour record 22.6 Player Efficiency Rating! In addition to Bull, 3 other Eurobasket members averaged double digits. Rob Littlejohn (194-G-1999, college: Guilford), a 6’5 W from Guilford ended with 14 per game, Jordan Hernandez (191-G) a 6’3 G from St. Thomas University averaged 12.6, and RJ Rhoden (190-G) an ultra athletic 6’5 G averaged 11.7 per game. Rhoden was tops in rebounding at 7.6 per game, while Royce Torres (201-F) a 6’7 W from Boyce College led the team in assists at 3.9. Bull and BJ Simmons (190-G)s from the University of Idaho led in steals at 2.4, and Littlejohn led with 1 block per game. For the 1st time 6 members finished a 10+ PER rating. The leaders in the category was Bull, Rhoden (14.7), Hernandez (13.9), Littlejohn (13.7), another Idaho alum Justin Stewart (185-G) (13), and Thomas College G/F Kory Winch (183-PG) (10.4).
To recap the final two games that took place against FAC and Guifoes. The FAC game was extremely close for the 1st half, but a huge 3rd quarter pushed the game out range. Rhoden, Littlejohn, and Simmons led the way in scoring with 15, 14, and 12 respectively. KJ Smith (180-PG) had 9, Bull, Hernandez, and Winch had 8, while Stewart and Kyler Stork (198-F/C-1998, college: Eureka) each chipped in 7. Rhoden has the double-double with 13 rebounds. Hernandez led the team with 5 assists and 3 steals.
The Guifoes game was never close as it was probably the best game Eurobasket tactfully played. They had 19 assists to only 9 turnovers, their lowest of the tour. Hernandez led 5 Eurobasket members in double figures with 21. Bull had 17, Littlejohn 12, Torres 11, and Stewart had 10. Rhoden led in rebounds and assists while Littlejohn led with 4 steals. It was a great group to work with and look forward to the opportunities that are ahead!
