American guard Charlie Marquardt (193-G-1995, college: Molloy) was the top scorer of the day in the world with the 35 points he had in Canadian BSL. Marquardt graduated from Molloy College in 2017. His excellent performance made his team the Sudbury Five beat the Newfoundland Rogues 105 to 100. He is the best scorer in the league averaging over 22 points and almost 5 rebounds per game. Among many awards he won the BSL championship title in 2025. He was selected to the Eurobasket Summer League in New York All Star First Team back in 2020. Marquardt was also selected as the Latinbasket All Uruguay LUB Honorable Mention back in 2022.

The Chicago Eurobasket Summer League Event took place this past weekend at the ITAV Leadership Academy. This event is the kick off to the Summer League events that will follow in Atlanta, Dallas, NYC, and Las Vegas at NBA Summer League.
