American guard Malik Lacewell (190-G-2001, college: Allen, agency: Highlight Athletes) was the top scorer of the day in the world with the 47 points he had in the Guatemalan Liga Metropolitana. Lacewell graduated from Allen University to years ago. His excellent performance made his team Coyotes beat the Pat City 132 to 86. He also added 8 rebounds that evening. 47 points is his new career-high. Lacewell participated in the Eurobasket Summer League in Las Vegas 2 years ago. He helped his team to make it to the USCAA Division 1 Final Four in 2023.
